Ingredients
  

  • 1 16-ounce package pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 ½ tablespoons pesto
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add onion and cook for 3 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in pesto, salt, and black pepper. Heat for about a minute.
  • Pour the pesto mixture over the pasta and toss with grated Parmesan.
  • Serve immediately with extra cheese if desired.
