- 125 g baking spread or unsalted butter
- 100 g light brown sugar
- 75 g granulated sugar
- 1 medium egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 250 g plain flour
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 300 g chocolate chips dark, milk, white
Cream the butter and sugars.
Add the egg and vanilla extract.
Mix in dry ingredients.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Shape into balls and chill for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 180°C fan.
Bake for 12-14 minutes.
Cool for 30 minutes before serving.
Dough can be refrigerated for 48 hours before baking.
Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
